The world of gaming technology is constantly evolving, and one company that has been at the forefront of innovation is Ayaneo. With a legacy of producing high-quality gaming devices, they have once again captured the attention of gamers and tech enthusiasts alike with their latest creation: the Ayaneo Kun Handheld Gaming PC. This revolutionary device is powered by the newest AMD Ryzen 7 7840U chip, promising unparalleled performance and portability for gaming on the go.
Handheld gaming PCs have witnessed a surge in popularity in recent years, as gamers demand more immersive experiences beyond traditional consoles and gaming laptops. The Ayaneo Kun stands out in this emerging market, offering users the power of a full-fledged gaming PC in a compact and portable form factor.
🟠 At the heart of the Ayaneo Kun lies the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U chip. This cutting-edge chip is built on AMD's Zen 4 architecture and boast of eight cores and sixteen threads. The Max Boost Clock us up to 5.1GHz with L3 Cache of 16MB. TDP is configurable from 15-30W. The Chip has an integrated RDNA 3 graphics namely the Radeon 780M. This is quite a powerful iGPU that should be able to play AAA titles at a lower or mid settings and less demanding games can be played at higher settings.
🟠 The device boasts a high resolution 8.4-inch 1600P ultra-HD IPS display with vibrant colors and sharp details.
🟠 The controller has some notable improvements. It sports a brand new floating eight directional D-pad for a more responsive and precise movement. The Joystick has been outfitted with hall effect sensors thus virtually eliminating any dead zone.
🟠 Perhaps one of the most desired upgrades by gamers is battery life. With a higher capacity battery for longer gaming the Ayaneo Kun has a 75Whr battery. This size of battery capacity is normally used for laptops. Thus, the bigger battery coupled with a power efficient AMD chip should provide more gametime.
🟠 Improvement in thermal management using the new "KUNPeng" heat dissipation that comprise of three copper pipes. This should provide better colling performance.
At the time of writing this article. the Ayaneo Kun is not yet available for pre-order but there are reports confirming the release date by end of August. You can also check with your local gaming store about pre-order dates when it happens.
